Nawar Alnaquib, MD, attended the University of Baghdad in Iraq, and received his medical degree in 1968. Then, she relocated to the United States, where she served her residency in psychiatry and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In addition, Dr. Alnaquib received board certification in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
